Hey fellow Chasqui's! I ran a nice 5 mile loop near my house last night in preparation for the 10K tomorrow. This morning at work I pulled up my email to print out my registration confirmation. I remember being chastised by JB a couple of weeks back for not signing up, and believed that I did at the time. Anyway, no such confirmation in any of my folders. Did I imagine signing up? I know work was busy but....! So I pull up the trusty Chasqui blog with the ever so convenient 10K link (shout out to the administrators) and clicked "here" to register. CLOSED! No longer accepting online registration. Registration at the Expo or race only. Oh and by the way it is now $50, plus 10 more dollars for being a retard, instead of the 35 I thought I had paid. So needless to say, I won't be joining the Chasqui faithful for 60 bucks on the 10K tomorrow morning.

I will definitely run 6.2 miles tomorrow morning, in a less organized fashion (alone) while a number of you tear up Lovell Canyon. Should I call and warn the Labor of Love 10K event crew that Team Chasqui will be representing?! Nah, we will just let them be star struck when a few of the Chasqui faithful show up.

Dray- you suck! Officially. Now we must drag you through the mud of public humiliation for "conveniently" missing registration. Well done! We musn't bring shame on the Chasqui name. :)
Just kidding! JB told me of the proposed route from your casa to the Mtn Edge hill and back. Love the idea, I'm in. That isn't the route you ran last night was it? We'll miss you tomorrow, you have broad shoulders that can handle copious amounts of complaining.
Different route last night. I was dodging cars on the dark streets of the Southwest. I will run the Mtn Edge hill route in the morning and report back!
