I'm about to begin my Wasatch Back race simulation. I'm going to run the distance of each of my 3 legs in the next 24 hours. I think my distance might vary a tad as two of my runs will be on the treadmill at the LVAC. I only have the mental fortitude for about 3-31/2 miles. We'll see how it goes. Last week I went easy to rest a nagging knee I had. Things are much better this week. I'll run in the gym this afternoon, going to run 2 laps on the Late Nite Beginner Trail early Tues morning, and then back to the gym around lunch time on Tues.
Chasqui Matt- I think I'm going to run round the mountain on Thurs morning with Larry and Oscar. You want to join us? Any other Chasquis want to hit the trails for an awesome training run, post your interest in a comment. Or, write a post, hey that would be cool.
On Wed morning I'll report back as to how my simulation went.

I meant to do two 2.5 mile runs on Saturday. Dray came over in the morning and we did the first one, then the opportunity to go on a date with the wifey presented itself that evening, so Ironman beat out the second run. Not feeling too bad about it though - about two hours after my morning run, I hopped on the beach cruiser, threw Trey in the trailer, and hauled him around for just over five miles. It was some nice cross training indeed.
