It's Over and It Wasn't Pretty!

Thanks to JB who posted about the St. George Marathon. Super glad it's over. Nothing like running 26.2 miles in the freezing cold, pouring rain. Seriously, it rained the entire run...from starting line to finish line!! Also, we ran in a headwind most of the race. Someone said the headwinds were in the 20 mph range! I didn't think these conditions were most favorable. I felt like I never warmed up and my joints ached from the cold. But, somehow I managed to finish. I've never been happier to see a finish line. I couldn't wait to get a blanket or sweatshirt - really anything warm and dry - to wrap up in. So, another marathon down, and a brutal one at that! Hopefully next year will be better! Mother Nature better be nice during Del Sol!! Can't wait!!
Also, congrats to Jamie who ran the marathon too! You did awesome!

Upcoming St. George races (if anyone is interested):
Save-a-Sister 5k & 10k - Oct. 25th
Snow Canyon 1/2 Marathon - Nov. 8th
Painter's 1/2 Marathon - Jan. ??
*If anyone wants more info on these races, leave a comment and I'll let you know the details!
