Rumors have been flying and e-mails have been inquiring.
The answer is YES - there is a new Ragnar Relay in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara to Dana Point to be exact.
Team Chasqui will be there representing, and it will be our finest hour. The race is scheduled for April 24-25, 2009 and it is going to be freaking awesome.
Since this is the only place that this race will be announced among the Chasquis, the first ones to respond to me via the spoken word and a check will be the first people on the race roster. Just as an FYI - there are more than 12 Chasqui runners, so first come, first serve! The cost for this race is $95 per person. Just make the check out to me and once I have eleven checks in my hand, I will register us for the race.

Oh come on Chasquis!! There is nothing better than running along the California coast. 0 altitude means lots of oxygen.

Sat morning run up at the exit to the Red Rock Loop. I'll be going 6 miles at about 5:45. Valley of Fire 10k is only a week away.
Sorry, thats 5:45 am and not a 5:45 per mile pace.
