The Team Meeting

We had our team meeting on Saturday and had a great turnout. More importantly, I think we got lot of questions answered that people had. Below are the following things that came out of the meeting:

• If you're riding to Prescott with the team, meet at my house at 1:30 pm on Thursday, February 26. We will depart from there.
• We're not making assignments for people to bring stuff for the entire van. A lot of stuff got wasted last time, so just bring everything you want for yourself. If you would like to bring simple stuff for our van (ie case of water, etc, then volunteer for it).
• Our start time is at 9 am Friday morning. The team needs to be there by 8:15. If we're all at the same hotel, that shouldn't be a problem. Click here for directions from Las Vegas to the hotel in Prescott.
• If we leave by 2 pm, we should arrive in Prescott around 7. Let's plan on eating dinner as a team around 7:30. I'm thinking pasta would be good, so we have a choice between Olive Garden and Fazoli's. Leave a comment as to your preference. Whichever restaurant has the most votes by this Friday, wins.
• For this race, Van 1 will be a full-sized cab pick up truck with an extra long bed and a shell over it. Van 2 will be a Ford Excursion. If you're in Van 1, between the cab and the bed,I'm thinking we should all be able to fit to sleep at night. Nonetheless, bring sleeping bags, air mattresses, etc.
