Chasqui pic(s) of the day

Volunteers
Ragnar Relays are successful because of the people that volunteer their time and energy to staff the exchanges and make sure that things run smoothly.

If any member of a team lives within 100 miles of any given point on the course, that team is required to supply three volunteers. Having participated in the L.A., Arizona and Utah races before, we were able to slide around that rule a bit. Now that we're in our hometown, there is no dodging it.

Huge ups go to Allan and Joanne Duff for being our team volunteers. Joanne and Allan are my in-laws and the parents of Chasquis Mason and Warren.

They will be staffing Exchange #34 from 6-10 a.m. on Saturday morning. If we're hauling bootie, we'll see them and give them smelly, sweaty hugs!

Joanne and Allan - thank you both so much for doing this for our team and for your constant support of Team Chasqui!P.S. There will be volunteers all along the course and at every exchange. Please make sure and let them know how much we appreciate what they're doing.

JB- Another timely post. Ragnar is because of the volunteers. Joanne and Allan, thank you very much for repping the Chasquis. Hope to see you on course.
