The Hour is Nigh

Folks, the hour is nearly upon us when we will embark on a journey of epic proportions. This is our backyard, everyone else is coming to our playground. There is a loose band of renegades out there, somewhere, running under the halo of street lamp or following a shadow cast by the light of the harvest moon. Chasquis Unite! The time is now. The event is Ragnar. Can you hear it? Star of Bethlehem, faint in the distance, growing towards it's crescendo with every stride.

What's my prediction? "My prediction? pain." Am I a little nervous? " Yeah, I'm pretty nervous." We honor those who have run before us. Chasquis one and all.

I look forward to sharing the scenic by-ways of Clark County with you all. "Newbies" welcome to the tribe. Once a Chasqui, always a Chasqui.

Why do we run? Because we can.
LET'S GET IT ON!!

Angels and Airwaves, "The Star of Bethlahem" is the unofficial theme song of Team Chasqui. JB, can we make it official?
