Took a little longer than expected, but last Saturday morning JB, Drey, and I had a great run out on the Mustang Trails off of Blue Diamond Rd. While the real crazazies were running the loop, some twice, (crazy x 2), we had a great 3.6 mile trail run. Sam and Mindi, you guys weren't doing that Loop race were you?
Anyway, after barkin about the fun that trails provide, I think we have some believers.
White Rock loop tomorrow morning.  Meet at 6 am at the pay/toll both at the Red Rock visitor center.  We then carpool up to Willow Springs campground.  This loop is a little over 7 miles.  First 3 miles are a great uphill sufferfest.  After the run tomorrow, I'll be looking for a good recovery run on Sat morning.  Anyone got any ideas?  If so leave us a comment.
OOHHH!!
Did my first double run day yesterday.  I was trying to simulate the Ragnar race conditions.  I ran 4 miles early morning, then at about 5 pm I ran another 2 miles on the treadmill at the gym.  I thought I would be alot more sore this morning, but it wasn't to be.  Ankles a little sore.  I hope everyone tries to this type of training a couple of times before June rolls around.  Hammer Nutrition has a product I started using a couple of years ago called Tissue Rejuvinator.  I was getting super sore after swim workouts, someone reccommended it and it really works well to help with back to back to back workouts.  Then again, maybe I am just getting old.
