I hope some of you were out and about this morning doing something; running, cycling, walking your dog, running out to get the paper in your unmentionables, anything. Well, if you happened to find yourself outside this morning at about 6 am you witnessed one of the most beautiful sunrises EVER. I found myself up at Red Rock for a 10 miler. WTH Morgan, did you say 10 miler? Well yes I did. I had the hairbrain notion yesterday that I would sign up for the LV 1/2 Marathon this coming Sun. So my run this morning was the start of my 1/2 marathon trianing that will last until, oh, let's say Friday. So, Cat, Amber, Matt, lets run on Sun. It will be fun. As fun as 13.1 miles can be. Can't wait!
Thanks JB for alerting me to the fact that Ragnar announced the race route and published the race bible for the LA relay. Chasquis, this is going to be the most fun of any of the relays, my prediction. Sea level, within civilization (Wahoo's along nearly all the race route), running with the great Pacific Ocean on your right the whole time. Come on, give me a break! This has sick written all over it. And did I mention the finish in Dana Point? I'm sure the Chasqui backers will have some sort of finish soiree for us as our beach house is like 2 minutes from the finish (I exagerate, 3 minutes). Get on this train quick, get a check to JB for your entry. He has mine, I'm runner 10 with the unbelievable leg that goes above Crystal Cove between Corona del Mar and Laguna. Sorry.

Good luck at the half. Holla for Ragnar LA, I'm runner 9, so I will be sending you off on that fantastic leg you just wrote about. Can't wait til April!
Dray- You get the sweet stage down through Redondo Beach and up into Palos Verdes. This race will become the stuff of legend. It has awesomeness all over it. I can't believe you all have to do Del Sol still. There isn't a bad leg on this thing.
JB- on your middle of the night stage down into Long Beach, maybe we can see of Snoop Dogg can pull escort.
It's a good thing we're doing this race on it's inaugural year, cause I can't imagine CHP'a gonna be to stoked about all the mayhem coming down the 1. Of course, if there are only six teams, noone will notice anyway.
