So a few weeks ago, I laid out this awesome plan by which I was going to lose weight, be light on my feet and be super-duper ready to go.
Well, about a week and a half after I posted that, I started coming down with a slight cold. Not wanting to aggravate it, i didn't run or anything. I hoped it would just go away. Well, instead of going away, it developed into bronchitis, and its had me flat on my back up until about yesterday.
So, the last time I ran was like two days after our team meeting, and it was only like 3 miles. The last time I ran a distance anywhere to close to my longest leg of Del Sol was a 10k back in November, and I'm still coughing up green and brown GUNK.
This being my current state, I know the best and most appropriate thing to do for my team is TO TELL YOU HOW FREAKING STOKED I AM TO DEMOLISH DEL SOL WITH THE REST OF TEAM CHASQUI!!!!
IF YOU'RE LEAVING WITH THE VAN, MY HOUSE AT 1:30 PM ON THURSDAY!!!
OTHERWISE, WE'LL MEET UP WITH YOU THAT EVENING IN THE AZ!!

DAMN!! Well that's how Chasquis role I guess. I can't contain myself. I though I was stoked for the Wasatch Back last summer. Hell, that doesn't even compare to the glee I am experiencing and the anticipation of dancing through 19 miles of the Arizona desert.
Can we please show some freakin excitement!! More excitement, More excitement!! None of this, "Oh yeah, I'm pretty nervous" stuff. :)

I read/check this blog almost daily!!! So "offically" there are more than just 2 who read this blog. Can't wait for Friday and Saturday... I am super anxious for my first RAGNAR experience. Hopefully it won't be my last!
