I Love Excel

And because of my insatiable love for Excel, it's formulas, cells, rows and columns, I have gone a bit crazy in updating the runner time chart. It all started when I opened up just to change Chasqui McKay's pace. Well, I got a bit excited (downright frisky, if you will), one thing led to another, and I did too much.

"But how, oh HOW, Chasqui Jordan, could there ever be too much of this glorious and magnificent table?" I hear you asking, "That's like saying, 'too many jelly bellies, or too much Taco Bell, or too much Heidi Klum for crying out loud!' It can't be!"

Here, my friends, is why I may have gone too far. I'm sure you all remember the scene in Pirates of the Caribbean when Elizabeth Turner reminds Barbossa that he must follow the Pirate's Code, after which he reminds her that the Code is more like "guidelines".

Well, this table is more like guidelines. The only thing that these numbers are based on are pace and distance. They to not account for fatigue or increases/decreases in elevation. Traditionally, things take a bit longer than what these numbers dictate, but they still serve as a good framework to look at. Compare these times to the Race Bible to estimate where we'll be and when.

Anyway, here it is:
